About Plush Puppy

I loved dogs and cats from a very early age and was fortunate that my father taught me to respect not just the dogs and cats but all living creatures.

After my marriage to John we lived in London for 5 years, started a family and then returned to Namibia. As soon as were settled we were given a boxer, unfortunately Boxer and Brad kept going “walk about” so he went to live on a farm where he had plenty of space.

We decided to have our family and always had wonderful pets and it was not till we eventually moved to Cape Town that I got seriously involved in the “Dog World” And so it was that we acquired our first American Cocker – a Show Dog.

That was the beginning, and for many years we had American Cockers and so learned about the show world and everything that goes with it. We now have Lhasa Apsos, and am still involved in the show world, however to a lesser extent.

On a trip to Australia 7 years ago we stopped at the Plush Puppy stall and it came to pass that we became the Distributors for South Africa. We loved the product, bought some for our dogs and have used it ever since. John and I have made this a combined effort and we try our best to please.
